Some of our Finance Work
We worked on a holistic sonic identity, that kept their core values in mind, from their brief to create a new sound that highlighted their digital-first approach. By adding a characteristic slide on the bass guitar, we created a ‘roar’ sound that also formed a base for the UI assets.
ING’s final package includes nothing less than a brand new sonic identity, a rhythmic sonic logo, UI sounds, a branded music library of 40+ ING tracks, an ING-branded sample pack for producers, live event and webinar music, music optimised for radio spots, call centre hold music and loopable music modules for long-form content.

Sonic Branding, Music Production & Composition
If you open an umbrella in real life, you either start singing Rihanna’s song or you notice its sound. So we crafted a unique sonic logo that captures the real sound of an umbrella, and brings to life a feeling of reassurance. We also crafted a sonic DNA track and various adaptations to cater to all of Legal & General’s content and brand communications.
By partnering with Goldsmiths University’s Music Mind and Brain Lab, we also measured psychological reactions to the sound of L&G. We tested to what extent they deliver a sense of calm, reassurance and wellbeing on the listener.

Sonic Branding & Music Strategy
It was there that Ahmir Khalib Thompson (Questlove’s real name) met Tariq Trotter (Black Thought) and formed The Roots. We went through the repertoire of the two bands that performed during the event, cast DJs who played before Questlove, and even curated the playlist for the school band, all before debuting The Roots’ first new song in two years.
The inspirational anthem, created in partnership with Citizens Bank, was written to pay homage to The Roots' own journey and the #MadeReady campaign.
